Bradda Dads Float Victorious in 2009 Carnival

A cracking effort by Bradda Dads and a well deserved victory. The 'Dads looked great bedecked in fake chain mail and the wives looked fabulous in those hand-made dresses. Thanks to all those who helped make the kids outfits and the dresses - special thanks to Chris and Caroline. Thanks also to Malc for the tractor and trailer, to Miketh for the music and Christine and Fudge for the choreography. (click any image to enlarge, press back button to go back)

Wolf's Pit Fell Race Walk Around

On a cold but sunny Saturday morning, Malcolm Sowerby, John Boyle, Keith Cooper, Mick Taylor, Mike and Viv Thompson (and Joe!), Jonathan and Caroline Morgan, Jaak Ojari and Mark Johnston walked the 5 mile route of the Wolf's Pit Fell Race. In addition to some very steep climbs, the recent and heaviest snow fall in years made the going tough in places, but we were rewarded with some spectacularly snowy views.
